Hookah Tips: Getting a Khalil Mamoon Hose Grommet to Seal Properly

One of the biggest complaints we see, by far, is not being able to get a Khalil mamoon hose to seal properly. While most people want to instantly blame the Khalil mamoon hookah, the long handle rainbow hose, or the grommet, it is usually the technique that is being applied. With Khalil mamoon hookahs, seating the hose into the hose stem adapter is all about technique. You can't just jam it in there like Chinese hookahs. Here we will give you the tried and test technique that works for us every time. First, the hose grommet needs to be seated on the hose tip, not placed into the stem adapter (rookie mistake). Seat the grommet on the hose as tight and far on as you can. Next, grasp the end of the hose, firmly insert the tip (with grommet on it) into the stem adapter while twisting it clockwise. Do all this in one firm motion until the hose is seated properly. While this may take a few tries to master, you will be the new Khalil Mamoon guru of your hookah smoking group. No one will ever question you again!
