Trifecta Dark BDH

Trifecta Dark has been producing phenomenal flavors since its release in 2016 and BDH is certainly one of them. Trifecta is known for overall flavor accuracy and bold taste along with smooth hits and thick clouds. What more can you ask for? Now, I don’t exactly know what BDH is supposed to stand for but what it tastes like is a close cousin to its counterpart in the Trifecta Blonde line: Melon Mélange. It’s a mix of mostly cantaloupe and honeydew with a little watermelon on the back end to give it that little bit extra sweetness. The dark notes of the blend are not overpowering but rather work very nicely with the sweetness of the melons to give it a very smooth and rich smoke. It’s not as sensitive to heat as other melon blends can be so you can manage your heat like normal which, for Trifecta Dark, is to say that starting with three hookah coals is no problem at all. Unless you are a provost fan, then you would probably want to start with two.

Trifecta Dark is packaged in a sealed bag inside a white plastic tub that has a twist off top. It is great for storing your tobacco in without the need of secondary storage containers. It has a slightly higher nicotine content than the blonde line does but it’s still very mellow compared to other dark brands on the market. In fact, if you are someone who only smokes blonde leaf but are interested to try some dark leaf options, Trifecta would be my number recommendation for this very reason. Along with the fact that it is easy to pack, easy to manage, and has a ton of fantastic flavors to choose from; it is hard to go wrong. Trifecta Dark can be on the juicy side so I would recommend using a phunnel bowl like our very own Utopia Hookah Bowl with a semi-dense slight underpack for optimal performance.
