Tangiers Noir Melon Blend

Tangiers Noir: Melon Blend

Tangiers is one of those brands that has a special place in our hearts – and for good reason! It is made with love right in the heart of San Diego, California and is a favorite among the vast majority of hookah enthusiasts everywhere. The only downside is that, since it is made by hand in small batches and the demand is so high, sometimes scooping up your favorite flavor isn’t as easy as you would like it to be. There are four different lines available – excluding Lucid since it isn’t in rotation anymore. My favorite line for this particular flavor is the Tangiers Noir line; easily discernable by the yellow packaging. The Noir line is the original line with all others being successors to it. All the lines have a pretty intense buzz but at varying degrees. The Birquq line has the least amount of kick; Noir is next with a stronger buzz; Burley is something that will make your head spin; and the F-Line is a crazy, caffeine infused blend that could potentially knock you right onto your bottom if you are not careful.

Flavor Profile & Hookah Accessories

Melon Blend is one of my absolute favorites! It has a nice and sweet mixture of watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew. Watermelon seems to shine through the most, followed up by the sweet taste of cantaloupe and the mellow flavor of honeydew all coinciding with that classic Tangiers flavored tobacco taste. Tangiers is a finely chopped unwashed dark leaf tobacco with a fair amount of juice and little to no stems. The cut on this shisha is always beautiful and consistent; making it smoke like a champ. It produces the best results at a dense slight under pack in a phunnel hookah bowl. Make sure to ease into the heat as it can be rather fickle and even though it performs with HMD setups, it really shines with a foil or Provost set up. Want to know more?
