Starbuzz has been around since 2005; at this point, we all know who Starbuzz is and what they have to offer. They are one of the most popular and well-known brands in the industry that cater to beginner smokers. In fact, there’s a pretty good chance that the first experience you had with a hookah or your first favorite flavor, along with most other beginners, was a Starbuzz variation of some sort – does Blue Mist sound familiar? Their newest addition to the Starbuzz family is their Serpent line. This line is kettle cured and has a deeper sort of profile with an emphasis on the tobacco notes. This is a perfect in between for people who want to start the transition into smoking darker blends. It is a fine but slightly choppy cut with very little stem management. It is dark in color, only slightly juicy, and as it is stated on the packaging, works best at a semi-dense pack in a phunnel bowl. It is not particularly heat sensitive but I found no reason to burden it down with excess heat unless you are purposely trying to bring out the tobacco notes more.

So now onto the flavor description. Gee Spot was certainly an interesting avenue to choose so far as names go and I assure you it had nothing at all to do with the reason behind this being my first attempt at the brand. In all seriousness though, it is a creamy vanilla with subtle and spicy cinnamon notes.
